We were actually able to pay rent yesterday! A couple of small checks finally went through in my bank account. Yay for us! :) With an extra $55 in our pockets, Mike and I were able to put in the extra $20 for rent and even get it paid by 5pm to avoid any late fees. After that, we quickly put a few gallons of gas in the car and drove right over to the 99 cent store to pick up some cheap-o food to last us through the end of the week. What a relief. Life is good again. :)
