Okay, real quick here, I was eating some pop-tarts before work and skimming over some news - when I read this article on the safety of our nation's food supply... personally I kind of believe it's another one of the many administration's scare-tactics: "terrorist are about to attack -- fill in the blank --". But regardless, what the hell is this guy, Thompson, doing here when he said:

"For the life of me, I cannot understand why the terrorists have not attacked our food supply because it is so easy to do," Thompson said. "We are importing a lot of food from the Middle East, and it would be easy to tamper with that."

Is he trying to give people ideas? While he's at he should mention that numerous "test" have found it's still quite easy to sneak weapons into airports and even abroad planes... or he could say, "hey... we don't fund port security worth a crap - come get us in there...", it's all very, very strange. Now, I have to get in the shower. Adios.
