The three of us [Billy, Amanda, and myself] are just hanging around the apartment... Billy is listening to Ray Charles on iTunes, Amanda is checking her email. Both of them are drinking some cheap wine that our landlord sent to us for Christmas - everytime they take a sip their faces crunch up... but they are still trying to talk me into to having some. Not a good start, especially since Billy just blurted out, "that wine is God awful!"

Earlier Amanda and Billy were getting on my case because I mentioned I don't really make New Year resolutions. I guess it always just seemed so... hmm... I don't know what the right word is... I just never really get into that much. Seemed too forced. But this year I actually thought of one while I was cleaning up some cat vomit in the bathroom [his new food isn't sitting well], I would very much like to get back into editing [the kind that pays the bills]. So I guess that's my big resolution.
