More than 10,000 children of Wal-Mart employees are in a Georgia health-care program, which costs the state's taxpayers nearly $10 million a year. A New York Times report found that 31 percent of the patients at a North Carolina hospital were Wal-Mart employees on Medicaid.
How much is walmart costing your state?

3 comments for reason number 113 why you shouldn't shop at walmart
Target is the same way!
6:42 AM, August 02, 2005The don't pay worth a damn and you have to get help from the state to keep your family fed etc. Target is not interested in promoting from within. They chew you up and spit you out when they are done with you. The Target way is to piss you off so bad that you will leave. Then they will replace you with an entry level paid worker. And the cycle continues. I can go on and on about how bad they treat people and the petty games the exec's and store managers play to keep their little piss ass jobs. Does NOT surprise me Walmart is doing the same shit.
I heard that 5% of China's exports go to Wal-Mart. 5% of what the entire freakin country exports goes directly to Wal-Mart and the savings are passed into your pockets. If your last name is Walton. Otherwise, just don't shop there.
