Amanda found this stuck under the windshield wiper of her car outside the 'food4less' store. The two strange things are one) the letter doesn't look photocopied, so this person sat their - probably using Amanda's car's hood as a table - writing out this letter... then went back through it with a red marker, highlighting key points just to be safe. And two) Amanda said she didn't see any of these "God's hit list" letters on anyone else's car.
The whole thing makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside - I think I'll go to the church down the street and bring my "inspiring letter" with me.

People like that make the real, good Christians look bad. I'm a Christian and I don't write letters like that to people. It's just not right. You can't just toss stuff like that at people and expect them to "suddenly see the light". It just makes Christians seem judgemental and hard and we're honestly not like that. At least not all of us.
3:10 PM, July 14, 2005Don't worry Rachel - I wouldn’t honestly lump any group of people in one stereotype :) I know that no one person speaks for everyone else.
3:30 PM, July 14, 2005Especially not the crazies who leave notes on total stranger's car reading: "God's hit list".
The person that wrote that letter clearly has issues. It is kind of scary.
7:08 AM, July 15, 2005Could it be someone you know? Perhaps an old coworker, or roomate?

Ehh... my guy tells me it was more likely a holier-than-thou soccer mom saw Amanda's bob marley bumper sticker and was unable to control herself... the handwriting seems frantic and sincere...
