In an independent interview conducted before her VP acceptance, Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin mentions the excess of natural resources stockpiled in Alaska, as well as her independent, non-partisan stance on politics today stating, "(Ron Paul's) independent of, like, the party machine, and I'm like, 'Right on!'...so am I. The party machinery, on both sides of the party...Americans are tiring of the obsessive partisanship that gets in the way of just doing the right thing for this country.'
